One week before we went Gregory started measuring. Checking everyday to see if he is tall enough hopeing he would grow. He badly wanted to be tall enough to drive the go-carts all by himself. He did not make the cut this year. His disapointment would have lasted longer if it wern't for the fact he got to be fastly chauffered around the track by his dad.
We zoomed around our whole goal was to beat each other. I won many times over.
We got aggressive running the carts into each other. Cutting each person off at the bends. Often makeing each other spin out and the race would have to stop. At point Evan said mom I don't want to ride with you any more. Baby if your not first your last.
Gregory has spent time since trying to grow. Plotting his driving stratiges. Coaxing his brother into ridding with him so they can beat their dad, uncle and try to beat me.
When we wern't causing each other and our children whiplash we took to some calmer activites.
Like golf.
Little ones on the links. Iwas surprissed the clubs did not turn to sworads at somepoint.
It wasn't a game of who would win because they all cheat.
I only got to hit one hole since Smiley stole my club as soon as I got it. It's okay I could not putt that day at all.
They were the only two who did not play. They stayed in the shade. It was a hot day but perfect for playing in the water.
We put on our suits and ran through sprinkler, splashed in the pool, and went down some pretty steep slides.
See the slide behind my brother that big red one. It was long, it was steep, it was fast. The funny part was it spit kids out at the end like little rock skipping across the water it was too funny.
It is a lot of fun to play with your kids. But did they wear us out. Within a half an hour into the trip home the 5 of us were sound asleep.
What great pictures!! And it looks like a FAB day to head to the water park.
