Luke Chapter 5

It is cold this morning and was very hard to drag myself out of bed. I hit the snooze button in my mind and laid there debating with myself wither to get up or not. I thought up every one was sound asleep all snug and warm I can take a few extra minutes. As I kept trying to talk myself in to sleeping in the time was passing and my son woke up. "Good morning Mommy" his sweet voice said. With that I took him downstairs and started reading. But now there was a child asking for things, Disney on in the background and I wish I had just got up and read when the alarm went off.

Luckily this a short chapter of 5 paragraph size stories. It is really hard for me to read with the kids around. In three of them Jesus said to the people get up and follow me. Is not the bible amazing. The Lord knows you and what you need to hear. What a message for me today, get up and follow me. Okay I will. I will no longer wrestle with getting my tired body out of bed but do it joyfully and dive into your word.

Off to continue in my morning. I now have a baby on the couch, the smallest in my arms, everyone else is still in bed, ( it is not even 7am yet) I pray may this be a good and peaceful day for my family and yours.
